I went to go buy Aidan some blocks yesterday. Blocks apparently are the most expensive and elusive toy on the market these days.
What they do have plenty of are dolls that look like they've already had botox and collagen injections although they are apparently supposed to be in high school.
I knew about the disgusting Bratz dolls but this stopped me in my tracks:
America's Next Top Model dolls?!?!?! Tyra you have gone too far. At least Barbie always had a job or commitments like being a princess or fairy or something. Now your little girls can buy a doll celebrating reality show contestants who pour beer in each others weaves and leave their kids at home so they can give them a "better life". You could you know go to college or get a job at McDonald's or you can decide that America's Next Top Model is your best chance for success. Barbie looks pretty smart and modest in comparison. Barbie is the new chemistry set.
Aidan's already growing up too fast.
She has her first prom updo.
And a cell phone.

I do not have any problem with Polly Pocket or Barbie and let Macy play with them, but I can't stand Bratz or those Top Models either (and won't let Macy play with them)! I agree that they are disgusting.
Wow! SHe is looking so grown up!! She's darling!
Did you notice the before and after picture on the front of the box? Great idea huh? I've decided that Viv can't ever leave the house or play with anything other than teddy bears. And measuring cups, since that's the only thing that keeps her entertained.
Lucky for me I have a little boy but I actually have a niece that is not allowed to have Barbie. I can see banning the other dolls like bratz and top model but Barbie was such a huge part of my childhood. I actually pray I have a girl next so I can play Barbies with her like my mom did with me... Is there something wrong with me???
i dont get it i mean their pointless im sorry some of kids have them and now act that their better than others because of it i love the idea of teddie bears and barbie and my little pony and blocks
sick dolls! why dont' they make pretty dolls that look like us pretty moms, since that's what our kids will look like in about 25.
Her hair... it's nuts how long it is! My Evey is 16.5 mo and doesn't have even close to that much hair! Lucky Ducky!!
I'm speechless. I had no idea there were ANTM dolls. Seriously, Tyra?!
I cannot even bring myself to say anything about those dolls, but if you are still looking for blocks, we got some "Parents" brand blocks at Target at Christmas that Elliott really likes. They are soft rubber and bright colors. Good luck!
