Time to break out the Mane and Tail...

I am going bald. Well, not really..but it sure feels like it. About a month ago the great post baby hair shed of 2007 began and it has still not tapered off. There is hair everywhere! Strangers at stores pick hair off of my shoulders. We're going to have to call in a professional for our drain situation. When will it end? I only have so much hair to give. I don't want this to end in an unfortunate Raquel Welch Shassy Shag situation.

1st Thanksgiving

Nana presents Aidan with her Christmas quilt.

Our first 4 generations picture

Nana and her little Turkey

Well just like the Indians spoon fed the Pilgrims, we tried feeding Aidan her first solid food on Thanksgiving with mixed results. She didn't start screaming and seemed to like the taste but she has no idea how to use her tongue to swallow yet. All the cereal just kind of stayed on her face. We'll probably give it a few weeks before we try again. We've got bigger fish to fry this week...the dreaded move from the bassinet into the crib. Stay tuned for details on this riveting new development...

Camera ready...but no camera.

Thanks to Aubrey for the picture above. Our digital camera was left at a friends house a few days ago and I feel a little naked without the ability to take pictures. We had a whole Oklahoma Birthday Party celebration photo shoot for Aidan ready to go. We even made cake, and then we realized we had no way to document this event. Oh well, we'll get you at the bicentennial.

I'm not doing this with you todaaaaay...

If you don't get the quote above then you never experienced the cultural phenomenon that was Being Bobby Brown. I feel for you, I really do.

Aidan is having a case of the Mondays. You know those days when NOTHING makes them happy? I actually just told my 5 month old to stop whining. She's not sick, just dissatisfied with life at the moment. After much crying and gnashing of gums, she is finally taking a nap. I should be cleaning the house but instead I'm blogging and watching the Project Runway marathon. You have to have priorities.

Unfortunate Rite of Passage

Today was my day to do what every mom does sooner or later...bonk your baby's head. We were playing sit ups and my hands slipped and she went right back on her head and screamed. She hated me for about 5 minutes and then forgave me. I, on the other hand, am still a little shakey.

Looks like someone got a visit from the hair fairy...

We were pumped about the extra hour of sleep last night. Unfortunately, we discovered that Aidan does not believe in Daylight Savings Time so she was up just as early as usual.

Aidan's 1st Halloween

I had to work the late shift last night so we made a quick run to the pumpkin patch and then over to Matt and Mandy's to pass out candy to Trick or Treaters. I was worried that Aidan would be too hot in her ladybug costume but the weather turned chilly right before we went out. We shelled out $6 for a sad looking pumpkin because we felt guilty taking pictures.
