Someday you'll hate me for this...

Rubby ducky makes bath time SO much fun that some genius decided to make a ducky bathtub. Aidan is a little scared of the big tub and yet somehow a giant yellow inflatable bird sets her at ease and she has a lot of fun....even when it's not bath time.

Word.

It is possible that Aidan may be moving towards her first word....DaDa.

Tante Lailah

Aidan was so happy to see Lailah again. The last time she saw her she weighed about 8 lbs. After Lailah left to go back to San Francisco, Aidan cried and cried and told me she would never be happy again until Lailah moved back within reasonable driving distance. She really did.

Milestone

Aidan started doing a backwards crab crawl last night...It won't be long now! I really need to baby proof this weekend.

Belated Valentine's Day Post

I am one of those people who loves Valentine's Day. Actually, I love every holiday. I used to pretend to be bitter about Valentine's Day when I didn't have a boyfriend just so I could fit in with everyone else but I always secretly loved it.

Thursday night I had to work so Ben brought Aidan up to the library with some chinese food from Pei Wei and a candle for our romantic Valentine's Day meal. Ben got me the best present ever. The gift that every pop culture enthusiast dreams of...a People magazine subscription!! I was so excited, I've wanted it forever.

Friday night my parents babysat and Ben took me to Cheever's for an amazing dinner! We had an apple soufflé that was unbelievably good! Then we went out to Pop's to pick up some fun sodas.

Ben and I have the flu. Aidan has had a flu shot but somehow she has managed to get sick too. Thank goodness for Grandmas.

Aidan's 1st Super Bowl

Well, she didn't have any hot wings but I think Aidan had a pretty good time watching her first Superbowl. Aidan found the halftime show to be lackluster, and don't even get her started on Paula Abdul during the pre-show, but she enjoyed the game itself.
